How do track the main subject?

I really like how Sony allows fine tuning exposure without over darkening the entire image. I think Sony has finer parameters for my adjustments to exposure and /or compensation. To attempt similar adjustment with Lumix results in over-dark imagery. It just seems Lumix does not have as fine parameters in adjusting what I want. Really like your work, Vu

ha, i bought the lidar AF specifically FOR its tracking capability with the gimbal. but you have a point regarding control. seems like they need to turn something like the M button into a active tracing disable, or maybe a trigger hold. i have yet to receive my lidar part, but just have rs4pro gimbal right now and there is the trigger hold to enable gimbal locking mode. would that override the lidar tracking? seems the gimbal works a little different with lidar in the system though. great video tho, subbed now.

Totally agree on the weight vs the tamron - i also have both and find the sigma 28-45mm feels a lot closer in weight on the camera to a typical 24-70 than it does the tamron 35-150. I'm not sure where the heavier glass elements are positioned but my guess is the tamron is more front weighted. I've used the sigma at a couple of weddings now and love it!

20mm cropped in for Sony 4k 60fp is better than the 24mm cropped at 60fp. that was my deciding factor. Since I went to A7C to mark 2. I have the Sony 20mm 1.8 and also Sigma 24-70 Art gen 1, but it's too heavy.

This is TOTAL Nonsense. I've shot Sony for 10 years, and the Lumix full frame cameras are vastly superior for video. The stabilization is fantastic on the S5ii and the colors are beautiful and natural looking. Sony colors never look right, and their S-LOg is a nightmare to grade. Plus, Sony never gives authentic video tools, like Shutter angle, waveforms, and C4k. Sony can't provide C4k because the E mount diameter is too small. Stabilization is terrible. All Sony ever had on the Lumix was AF, and now, in a practical sense that's over. Panasonic V-Log is a dream to work with, and super easy to expose and grade. For video Lumix is obviously far, far superior. Gotta go.

Your Sony fanboy bias is showing. Fact is Sony colors are actually gross. I'd stick with Panasonic or Fuji if you want pretty colors.

Primes just wayyy better. 24 and 50 all i need. Will get 35 soon for certain applications but i cant use anything but primes these days
